Just stay in your house ... YouTube launches this new site to learn anything that comes to your mind

YouTube has launched a new initiative that aims to enhance user learning in times of confinement caused by the global COVID-19 pandemic.
Thousands of families around the world are trapped in homes to stop the infection curve, and in this scenario, technology has played a fundamental role, allowing access to educational tools online.

YouTube now wants to join the tech companies ’efforts to allow users to find productive ways to spend their time.
The video platform already contains a community of learning creators, those they call Edtubers. Among them, there are some prominent personalities such as Math2Me, JulioProfe, Biologist Elena, WikiSeba and others who have enriched their channels to provide educational content.
Although YouTube content does not replace teachers or academies, it can act as a supplement to knowledge. In this context, YouTube has made a new section available to users on its platform, which brings together various educational channels.
The platform has also launched a new website where it will be possible to find resources related to learning and family content.

Through an intuitive and detailed interface, YouTube offers detailed content with categories ranging from families with children under 13 years old, families with children above 5 years old, to families with children in pre-school.
Likewise, with the help of the Temporary Information Center, it will be possible to find YouTube channels starting from the topic that interests the users.
The new site is a useful alternative to finding information more simply and succinctly. The goal is to make the tools available to those interested (parents or students) so that they can find complement to formal lessons and thus have the possibility to discover something new in terms of knowledge.
