Telegram starts video calls that you can try

After a long wait, the Telegram messaging app that competes face-to-face with WhatsApp has started testing video calls on iPhone. Although it was already known that Telegram would launch video calls in 2020, no one knew the exact date on which this functionality would reach the application in question.

Telegram will add secure group video calls later this year

Video calls are now only possible for users with the latest beta version. To order to use this new feature you will also have an iOS (iPhone or iPad) mobile device.

The "Beta" function in the application settings must be disabled to make a video call.
When this option is activated, you must click on a new custom button in the contact profiles inside the app to make a video call with Telegram.

As stated previously, telegram video calls are currently available only to iOS beta 6.3 and later, although the newest version of the Android app is also expected to reach those users. The date of enablement of video calls on Google's mobile operating system is not known and so we expect Telegram to announce this information in the coming weeks.
