Samsung bridged a very serious hole in its phones for 6 years and be first to update

How many times have you heard about security vulnerabilities on Android? Yes, it happened again, this time with Samsung, which has fixed an error in its existing phones for 6 years.

Samsung Joins the Accidental Industry of Digital Currency Mining

Hackers always look for OS vulnerabilities to take advantage of them and steal information such as passwords, bank details, pictures, conversations and more. However, when Google detects an error, it is usually resolved by updating the security patch.
By updating the firmware, Samsung has solved a security issue that has been affecting all Galaxy phones that have been launched on the market since 2014. In other words, for 6 years, people have been exposed to stealing their personal information.
Thanks to Mateusz Jurczyk, member of the Google Security Team, this issue has been detected. This failure affected all Samsung mobile phones with Android 4.4.4 version or higher with each modification due to the customization layer that the South Korean giant has always applied to its phones.
The bug was very critical, because it would allow attackers to execute malicious code on devices via MMS without the need for any kind of user interaction. Here we are leaving you a video that shows how this was possible:

While detecting and reporting this problem in February 2020, Samsung made sure to fix the issue with the May security update. But as you know, these types of updates usually come to some specific phones and others later, because they will also affect the country in which you live, so we recommend that you speed up to update your phone if you receive this update, and if you have not received this update yet, we recommend you to wait it and download it fast as you can.
