Intel has partnered with Tile to implement a smart solution that helps users recover lost or stolen devices.
It will use Tile technology to locate your laptop (windows) using a Bluetooth-based system, without the need for the Internet. It is a dynamic that can be seen in the next generation of laptops.
There are many systems for identifying lost or stolen devices or objects, but Tile has a host of features that make it an almost perfect solution.
The Tile tag system is based on Bluetooth connectivity, so the presence of the Internet will not be a requirement to track the device's location. So it will depend on the feature already available on all devices.
Generally, it has two different dynamics depending on the coverage range. If the device is within about 50 meters, it will sound and direct us to the location with the Tile app. And if it gets out of control, the last location captured by the app will appear on the map. From there, the Tile network will be used to locate the device.
They didn't mention how they plan to implement this technology on Intel devices, but they assured it would be effective even when the laptop was asleep. It will start making it available to manufacturers from the end of the year.
