Apple with the sudden launch of the new 13-inch MacBook Pro with Magic Keyboard.
The computer features optional 10th-generation Intel processors and starts at $ 1,300 (256GB storage).
We have already seen that this is the end of an era, as Apple has stopped selling laptops with a butterfly keyboard mechanism. The 16-inch MacBook Pro was announced in November 2019, followed by an updated MacBook Air with Magic Keyboard last March. Within six months, Apple had completely changed its entire laptop portfolio using models that use better keyboards.
On this new Apple laptop, you keep Thunderbolt 3 / USB-C connectors, two or four in total (plus the headphone jack). The touch bar also stays along with the TouchID fingerprint sensor and physical physical ESC key.
The 13-inch MacBook Pro now has a 16GB RAM of 3,733MHz, along with 256GB SSD. This RAM can be upgraded to 32GB and storage capacity can be up to 4TB. Apple says that 10th-generation Intel processors have a clock speed of 4.1GHz and that new Intel Iris graphics support Pro Display XDR with a full resolution of 6K.
It is important to note that the $ 1300 base model does not have a 10th-generation processor and starts with 8GB of RAM. Up to 16 GB of RAM with another $ 100 can increase.
Computer will be available this week.
