The path has changed in the layout of Android 11 although the original calendar has determined that there will be a total of three versions of the "developer preview" type, thus ending the first stage that should end after the arrival of the previous third stage of last month, Google has just released a version Fourthly for developers.
The fourth preview aims to developers, as its name indicates, to application developers to adapt their applications to new APIs and procedures introduced in the eleventh major update of the Android operating system. That is why it is not fully recommended to install this version on those devices that will be used daily unless you really want to try it and remove it later.
Like previous releases, this previous fourth release can be installed on any compatible Pixel device. According to Dave Burke, Android vice president of Android engineering and chief responsibility for operating system development, this planning change will allow developers some extra time to test their applications and ensure their stability once the next beta of Android arrives on March 11.
As usual, the update package for this version can be downloaded from the Vogel developer page. Below, we provide download links for OTA files and corresponding factory images for each device.
