Cortana is a virtual assistant program that helps you to work differently on the computer, such as accessing programs and files faster, but sometimes the computer may be weak or it has problems in Cortana's assistant which causes the computer to slow down, especially the file manager, so we will learn in this post on how to disable Cortana with ease.
The method depends on doing the modification of the registry values, but we will not do it manually, but rather using a file prepared for this as it will make all the necessary changes.
Download the file from the link below the post and unzip it and you will find two files, one to disable Cortana and the other to reactivate it. All you need to do is open the Disable Cortana.reg file after that click on Yes and the default assistant will be disabled.
When you want to reactivate the plugin, open the Enable Cortana.reg file and it will activate it automatically.
