Apple and Google launch the first beta versions of the APIs to notify you if you are near someone with a corona virus

On Wednesday, April 29th, Apple and Google will be sharing the COVID-19 exposure notification APIs with a select group of public health authorities around the world.





Apple will release the first beta of Xcode 11.5, an earlier version of developer tools that will integrate a new version of the iOS SDK with the exposure notification APIPeros Corona. IOS 13.5 beta 3 will also be released with the code necessary to run applications that contain the API.
Meanwhile, Google will launch a beta version of Google Play services with an Exposure API notification API in addition to the accompanying SDK. It can be tested by a limited group of developers who will use Android Developer Studio.

This initiative is intended for developers to start testing APIs and reporting recommendations or bugs to companies. Final releases can be released in mid-May.

On April 24, Apple and Google announced technical updates to the Corona Virus Notification project that tells users if they are near someone with the virus, as the two companies want to clear the epidemic curve.
The modifications were made to the Bluetooth coding specifications documentation and to the API released on April 10, 2020.
